You are comparing apples to oranges ....

polls really just reflect recent results and the eye test while the selection committee uses whole season resume with specific metrics. As I have stated about 1,000 times on these boards the last week, look at the Bracket Matrix and you will see the committee was not out of line with how those bracket selectors seeded.
